After forty years of working in the design business, individually, Nancy Stevens and Jeff Koehler decided to meld their creativity into one design firm. In 2000, they created Design Associates. They located this new partnership in the Historic Plaza Hotel building, known today as the Park Plaza Building, in downtown Seguin, Texas. Design Associates occupies the ballroom of this historic building, as well as three additional offices and storage areas. The twenty-four foot ceiling, large windows, plaster and wood moldings, and mosaic tile flooring make a perfect showroom and work space.

In 2003, Design Associates incorporated as Jeff and Nancy, Inc., but continue to do business as Design Associates.  And in 2004, Anne Perry joined the team.

The firm’s business has grown from $100,000 in sales in 2000 to well over $900,000 in 2007. The future is very bright for this design team as wonderful new residential and commercial clients throughout the U.S. continue to choose the firm.
