This cabin has survived over 100 years and passed down from generation to generation as a fun, yet primitive, hunting and fishing lodge. Now a fabulous vacation property due to the talents of Design Associates, the “camphouse” offers a functional kitchen, bathhouse, 2nd floor bedroom in the attic and an addition to accommodate the stairs, it is paradise to many family members. The project cost was $80,000.

Description: The original interior space was designed to include a kitchen with hot/cold running water, a small stove, and “farmhouse” sink (c. 1800). The sink was purchased at an architectural restoration store in Gonzales, TX. Custom-designed cabinetry in barn red offers the maximum efficiency in a small space, and enhances the ironware and antique ceramic dishware.
